EU:n yleisen tietosuoja-asetuksen noudattamislausunto
Suomen Radiologiyhdistys (SRY) sitoutuu suojaamaan jäsentensä henkilötietoja ja noudattamaan EU:n yleistä tietosuoja-asetusta (GDPR). Alla on kerrottu, miten käsittelemme jäsentemme henkilötietoja:
Kerätyt tiedot ja niiden käyttötarkoitus: SRY kerää jäseniltään seuraavat tiedot:
- nimi
- henkilötunnus
- postiosoite
- sähköpostiosoite
- ammattiryhmä
- eläkeläisstatus
Nimi, henkilötunnus sekä postiosoite kerätään jäsenyyden hallinnointia ja laskutusta varten. Sähköpostiosoite kerätään jäsenetujen tarjoamista sekä yhteydenpitoa varten. Eläkeläisstatus kerätään, jottei eläkeläisiltä perittäisi jäsenmaksua.
Tietojen luovutus kolmansille osapuolille: SRY luovuttaa jäsentensä henkilötietoja (nimi, henkilötunnus, postiosoite) Lääkäriliitolle (www.laakariliitto.fi) jäsenrekisterin ylläpitoa ja jäsenmaksujen laskutusta varten. Lisäksi jäsenten tietoja (sähköpostiosoite, postiosoite, syntymäaika, ammattiryhmä) jaetaan SRY:n kattojärjestö European Society of Radiologylle (ESR), mikäli jäsen antaa siihen erillisen suostumuksen, jotta he voivat liittyä myös ESR:n jäseneksi ja saada hinta-alennuksen European Congress of Radiology (ECR) -tapahtumaan osallistumisesta.
Tietojen säilytys ja suojaaminen: SRY ja Lääkäriliitto huolehtivat jäsenten henkilötietojen tietoturvallisesta säilömisestä ja käsittelystä.
Jäsenten oikeudet: Jäsenillä on oikeus pyytää pääsyä omiin henkilötietoihinsa, niiden oikaisemista, poistamista ja käsittelyn rajoittamista. Lisäksi jäsenillä on oikeus tehdä valitus valvontaviranomaiselle.
Rekisteröityminen verkkosivuille: Jäsenet voivat halutessaan rekisteröityä SRY:n verkkosivuille (www.sry.fi). Rekisteröitymisen yhteydessä kerätyt tiedot, kuten käyttäjätunnus sekä sähköpostiosoite, ovat tarpeellisia palvelun käyttöä varten. Muita tietoja jäsen voi lisätä, poistaa tai muokata vapaasti omalla käyttäjätilillään.

Compliance Statement with the EU General Data Protection Regulation
The Finnish Radiological Society (SRY) is committed to protecting the personal data of its members and adhering to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Below is an explanation of how we process the personal data of our members:
Information collected and its purpose: SRY collects the following information from its members:
- name
- social security number
- mailing address
- email address
- professional title
- retirement status
Names, social security numbers, and mailing addresses are collected for the administration and invoicing of membership. Email addresses are collected for providing membership benefits and communication purposes. Retirement status is recorded, so that membership fees would no be charged of retirees.
Transfer of data to third parties: SRY shares the personal data of its members (name, social security number, mailing address) with the Finnish Medical Association (www.laakariliitto.fi) for the maintenance of the membership registry and invoicing of membership fees. Additionally, members’ information (email address, mailing address, date of birth, professional title) is shared with SRY’s umbrella organization, the European Society of Radiology (ESR), if the member gives separate consent, so that they can also become a member of ESR and receive a discount for participation in the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) event.
Storage and protection of data: SRY and the Finnish Medical Association ensure the secure storage and processing of members’ personal data.
Members’ rights: Members have the right to request access to their personal data, its correction, deletion, and restriction of processing. Additionally, members have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
Registration on the website: Members can choose to register on SRY’s website (www.sry.fi). The information collected during registration, such as username and email address, is necessary for using the service. Members can freely add, remove, or modify other information on their user account.
